DASH must approve the distribution of dissertations that contain student's previously published work. This is to protect copyright. This section covers all previously published material, which requires permission from the publisher or other rightsholders to be distributed by DASH, the writer who offers to get help with thesis says.
Please Note:
Before the dissertation can be distributed from DASH, authors whose publishing agreements give the publisher exclusive rights to display and distribute the works must seek permission from the publisher.
Authors whose publishing agreements state that they have retained the nonexclusive rights to the original materials in display, distribution, creation, and modification of derivative works can distribute the entire dissertation from DASH without the need for additional permissions.
Authors should consult their publishing agreements to find out if and to what extent copyright rights have been transferred. To help an author determine if she has retained the rights necessary or needs permission, the Office for Scholarly Communication is available. The Office of Scholarly Communication cannot assist in the authorizations process.
